Analysis of the artisanal, small-scale fishing sector and evaluation of the development potential.
Metodologjia
A review of fishery potential will be carried out with the assistance of an artisanal fisheries specialist. Socio-economic aspects of the sector will be studied in order to identify the characteristics of small-scale fishing activity in the Adriatic Sea. Experimental fishing will be carried out at selected localities per pilot area, using different fishing gears. CPUEs and catch composition by species, season and gear will be used as indicators of the extent of exploitation and of fishery potential.
