Since its inception, the AdriaMed Project supported the standardization of the methodologies for fishery independent data collection and, when necessary, supported the research institutions of the Adriatic countries in performing scientific surveys at sea both for demersal and small pelagic fisheries resources. The surveys at sea under the AdriaMed project are carried out in partnership with projects or research institutions active in the Adriatic Sea.
